One focus was on professions of the private economy and the professional profile of consulting. The workshop was led by consultants from the world's leading top management consultancy, McKinsey & Company, Inc., who have a social or human science background.

The workshop focused on the following questions:

  • How well are human scienticts prepared for the profession today?
  • In which fields of work do scientists work in the economy - and in which areas are they particularly sought?
  • What skills do employers now require from graduates - and how well are you personally prepared for these requirements?
  • What is the concrete example of the occupational field of consulting?

Afterwards, the students had the opportunity to talk directly to the speakers at a small refreshment and discuss ways of getting into the profession.
